*While this mod seems like it would make clothing stores obsolete, the starting clothes would be replaced regardless if they get worn or damaged.*

No. This mod is janky. I used it a lot in solo play games and it puts way too many options for clothing slots and possibilities to start with. It often bugs and shows all the slots multiple times. This mod has not been updated since 2022. It also allows a lot more clothing to start then we want to have in the options.
