1968, the famous year in France known for its strikes led by students, and the first flight on the Concord, and David was born. His father, Joseph Jacquet, was always taking care of him.
In 1978, David and his father traveled to Kentucky mainly because his father would receive a better job. Joseph paid a good education for David and soon he was old enough to start working. In 1986, as soon as he hit 18 years old, he took the test to be naturalized as an American.
In 1987, he started small with a convenience store in Hickman, while his father stayed in Louisville, retiring to be a book writer. In August, they went back to France for a week to look at the first French amusement park, the Futuroscope. On the 8th of November of the same year, the Provisional IRA commits an attack in Enniskillen that injures one of Joseph's professional contacts. He will later be pronounced deceased letting a new person at the head of his post be one of Joseph's close friends. David's convenience store burnt down after the election of George H. W. Bush for president in 1989. He left Hickman and went to Ekron where he would work as a waiter in a bar, he was living off the tips made by customers and was obligated to sleep in his car. He was also arrested for public intoxication asking himself what he did wrong. He still thinks he has committed no infraction to the law and is possibly inclined to drink alcohol on the streets again.
In 1990, Joseph used some of his money, without telling David, to make his son work at the GIGAMart at West Point to have him closer to Louisville. The brand of GIGAMart would thrive for the years to come, as David being an economic mastermind, would hire workers and managers, and even propose more and more job positions for people to be hired in, starting to pay them each week, no less than $1.250 a week to even $15.000 a week. The brand was in a dilemma when the murder of F. Martinez happened within the establishment of West Point. Fredejico Martinez was running from the cops after assaulting a man for his shoes and fled to GIGAMart's back room when David locked him in with Sheriff Matthew, which led to Martinez hacking the sheriff with a small hatchet before other officers shot him after David opened the rear door of the back room. This was one of the events that led him to join the Kentucky State Leo, a civil association meant to rally and simplify the organization between businesses of Kentucky, where David was a big contributor.
He'd expand his brand to Muldraugh, one being funded by the Mayor, Carlos Dover, at the time, Riverside, and even Rosewood. It'd be in 1992, a small-scale financial crisis started at West Point and David defended the towns he settled in by protecting against inflation by promoting cheap prices for everyone, discounts for veterans, people in a situation of urgent need, and even funding locals for their business ideas without any interests.
All of this spending led to the IRS-CI starting to take a look at his case. On his way to go plicking, David was stopped by a policeman and arrested. Since the IRS could not find where the money came from, David only had to pay what he owed in taxes and was freed three days after his arrest. This was not the first time that David had the cops peeking interest towards him since his living room was reportedly full of ammunition, crates of ammunition, cartridges, bolt-action rifles, shotguns, and multiple handguns, namely revolvers.
In early 1993, his wife Catori, known by the police and the press for her criminal activities was pronounced dead while David was ashore in France playing tennis with a new Romanian friend he made called Chleb. Catori was shot by a policeman named Marcus Dahl.
Coming back, right in April 1993, just 2 days before the fire of West Point, he had accumulated a lot of news including the one about his wife's death told by his daughter, Scarlet. Scarlet would also perish soon after David went missing, only to be found 2 months later by Jack Osprey, near Riverside, where he'd spend his days in a motel and take out his anger on cops, most of the time as a "revenge", only for him to be held in a sobering up cell for the day. He was then arrested for drunk driving by Deputy Simpson, only charging him with a misdemeanor.
